We're Looking for a Practice Lead – Delivery!
Our team is looking for a senior engineering leader based in Bengaluru with the breadth, depth,
and urgency to thrive in a high-velocity consulting practice. As a Practice Lead – Delivery, you
will own client relationships, deeply understand their engineering needs, and align the right
Velocity Engineers to each engagement. You will lead, develop, and inspire a team of 10x
engineers who are embedded within our clients teams -acting as the bridge between clients
leadership and delivery excellence.
This is a fast-moving, high-urgency practice. Clients come to us with critical engineering needs
and expect solutions fast. You will work in a just-in-time recruiting environment, rapidly
assessing talent, making quick placement decisions, and ensuring every Velocity Engineer we
deploy is equipped with AI-accelerated development skills, including hands-on proficiency with
tools like GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, and Cursor. Breadth and depth across multiple
technology stacks is essential, you need to understand the full enterprise landscape to match
the right engineer to every engagement.
At InRhythm, you will:
- Own client relationships for Velocity engagements conducting rapid needs assessments, understanding each client's technology stack and engineering gaps, and translating those needs into precise engineer placements.
- Drive a just-in-time recruiting pipeline rapidly evaluating engineering candidates, making quick fit decisions across multiple technology stacks, and placing the right Velocity
- Engineers at speed to meet urgent client demand. Lead, coach, and develop a team of Velocity Engineers setting AI-accelerated engineering standards, ensuring every engineer is proficient with tools like GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, and Cursor and holding the bar on delivery quality across all engagements.
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor to client engineering leaders contributing architectural guidance, technology stack recommendations, and AI-assisted development strategies that accelerate their most urgent priorities.
- Oversee delivery quality across all active Velocity engagements maintaining close alignment with both client stakeholders and embedded engineers, escalating risks quickly, and ensuring every engagement meets InRhythm's standard for 10x impact.
- Apply deep, cross-stack technical expertise — spanning front-end, back-end, cloud-native,
- data, and AI-accelerated engineering — to quickly understand any client environment and design the right resourcing and delivery solution.
- Grow the Velocity practice by building a deep talent network in Bengaluru and across India, proactively identifying, vetting, and onboarding engineers who can be activated at short notice to meet urgent client demand.
What you bring to the table:
- 10+ Years of software engineering experience, including significant time in a senior architect or Enterprise Architect function, with proven breadth across multiple technology stacks front-end, back-end, cloud-native, data engineering, and AI-accelerated development.
- Hands-on familiarity with AI agent harnesses and coding assistants — including GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, and Codeium, with the ability to assess engineer proficiency, set usage standards, and ensure teams are getting measurable productivity gains.
- Ability to rapidly assess unfamiliar technology environments and provide credible technical advisory, spanning microservices, event-driven architectures, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), data pipelines, and AI-assisted engineering practices.
- Experience operating in a high-urgency, just-in-time recruiting or resourcing environment rapidly evaluating engineering talent, making confident placement decisions under time pressure, and maintaining a ready pipeline of qualified engineers.
- Strong client relationship and consulting skills, with a track record of quickly building trust with engineering leaders, translating ambiguous client needs into clear engineering requirements, and aligning the right talent to the right engagement.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and hold accountable a distributed team of senior engineers, setting AI-accelerated engineering standards, running effective performance and career conversations, and maintaining a high-bar culture in a remote delivery model.
- Excellent communication and executive presence, with comfort engaging VP and C-suite client stakeholders on delivery status, engineering strategy, and AI-accelerated development outcomes — and the operational urgency to move fast when clients need immediate solutions.
Education:
- Computer Science or Engineering degree.
