Role / Designation: Practice Director - Cloud Infrastructure Services
Role Overview: The Practice Director, Cloud Infrastructure Services will lead the strategy, solution development, presales enablement, and delivery governance for cloud, data center infrastructure, DevOps, and SRE services. This role requires strong expertise across public, private, and hybrid cloud environments, including consulting, assessment, architecture, deployment, migration, automation, modernization, and operations. The Practice Director will collaborate closely with sales, delivery, operations, customers, OEMs, cloud service providers, and internal practice leaders to design differentiated, practical, and business-aligned infrastructure solutions.
The ideal candidate will be a senior practice leader with proven ability to build service offerings, support strategic pursuits, engage customers at senior levels, own technical solution outcomes, manage partner ecosystems, and develop next-generation DC, cloud, hybrid cloud, DevOps, and SRE capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Lead practice strategy, capability development, and service offering creation across DC infrastructure, cloud, hybrid cloud, DevOps, and SRE services.
- Support presales and solutioning activities by shaping customer proposals, solution architectures, effort estimates, commercial inputs, and executive-level presentations.
- Own technical delivery governance for strategic engagements, ensuring solution quality, operational feasibility, risk management, and alignment with customer business outcomes.
- Develop and institutionalize reusable frameworks, best practices, reference architectures, automation accelerators, and delivery playbooks.
- Manage relationships with customers, OEMs, cloud service providers, alliance partners, sales teams, delivery teams, and internal stakeholders to strengthen market positioning and execution quality.
- Build, mentor, and enable high-performing teams by driving competency development, utilization effectiveness, technical depth, and readiness for emerging infrastructure technologies.
- Operate with a collaborative and outcome-focused approach while managing priorities, stakeholder expectations, and tight deadlines in a dynamic business environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Science or related technical fields
- 15-20 years of relevant industry experience
- Certifications in DC and cloud technologies from leading OEMs and cloud service providers, along with ITIL or project management certifications, will be an added advantage.
- Prior experience managing OEM and cloud service provider partnerships will be a strong advantage.
- Broad exposure to DC, cloud, hybrid cloud, DevOps, SRE, AI, automation, and emerging infrastructure technologies and trends.
- Strong communication, presentation and customer management skills are a must
