Qualification & Experience:
1012+ years in corporate communications / PR within capital markets, esp. research & investment banking
Background in financial journalism, research communications, or strategy-led PR
Experience in handling multiple business verticals under a single brand
Strong relationships with business and financial media
Ability to read, interpret, and simplify financial / market research
Comfort engaging with analysts, bankers, investors, and senior leadership
Excellent writing and editorial judgment
High judgment on what shouldand should notbe said publicly.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Media & External Communications
Own and deepen relationships with key financial journalists, editors, and opinion platforms.
Drive proactive and reactive media engagement: quote requests, market commentary, authored articles, panel placement, and leadership interviews.
Ensure consistent, high-quality presence across Tier-1 business and financial media.
Manage and guide PR agencies with clear narratives, priorities, and guardrails.
2. Research & Deal Narrative Translation (Critical)
Work closely with Institutional Equities, Investment Banking, Wealth, and Asset Management teams to understand research outputs, sector views, and deal rationales, and translate complex analysis into media-ready notes, explainers, and narratives.
Help convert research insights, deal announcements, and market views into credible media content and social communication.
Act as a bridge between analytical depth and public articulation.
3. Thought Leadership & Content Development
Develop and place authored articles, opinion pieces, and special reports and IP-led content.
Ensure content reflects institutional thinking, long-term orientation, and credibility over noise.
Partner with leadership to shape points of view around market cycles & wealth creation, capital formation, governance, and long-term value creation.
4. Internal Communication & One Equirus Narrative
Lead internal communication initiatives to reinforce the One Equirus narrative, build brand pride and shared institutional identity, and improve understanding of Equirus businesses across teams.
Support leadership communication during strategic initiatives, organizational changes, and major milestones.
5. Social Media & Digital Leverage
Shape Equirus presence on platforms such as LinkedIn and X through insight-led content, research-backed narratives, and leadership positioning.
Convert research and deal activity into platform-appropriate, high-credibility digital content.
Ensure social media reinforces trust and institutional seriousnessnot hype.
