Plan and direct public relations programs to create and maintain a favorable public image for Akosha.
Collaborate with the external PR firm to ensure optimal delivery of PR campaigns, maintaining a high level of communication.
Create company literature and other forms of communication.
Work with the marketing team to create marketing and promotional materials, both print and electronic.
Coordinate with advertisers for timely and usable ad submissions.
Copyedit, proofread, and revise communications.
Review email marketing campaigns.
Provide recommendations on site design and operation from a PR perspective.
Manage events organized by Akosha, in collaboration with managers and business units.
Promote products and services through public relations initiatives.
Develop marketing communications campaigns.
Create content to position Akosha as a thought leader in the industry.
Write and deliver press releases, media relations content, case studies, white papers, executive bios, corporate newsletters, social media content, and speaking proposals.
Develop, execute, and maintain a communications strategy for key media contacts and customer references.
Research media coverage and industry trends.
Develop fresh story ideas for PR angles.
Conduct extensive media outreach.
Coordinate conferences, trade shows, and press interviews.
Help clarify Akosha's point of view to their main audience in case of discrepancies.
Qualifications:
3-6 years of relevant PR industry experience.
Experience both as a PR specialist in a company and a PR agency (understanding both sides of the table).
Established connections with the media fraternity.
Understanding of web technologies (preferable, but not mandatory).
Experience in branding, positioning, and lead-generation for a technology company.
Outstanding communication skills in copywriting, web content, email campaign content writing, blogging, etc.
Team player, with the confidence to take the lead and guide other departments when necessary.
