About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and articulate Junior PR and Event Coordinator to join our marketing team. You will be responsible for leading all public relations efforts across The Cinnamon Kitchen and the personal brand of our founder, Priyasha Saluja. From securing media placements and listicles to building community partnerships and managing press communications, your role will be central to shaping our public image and increasing our visibility across both brand and founder-led storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive and manage PR initiatives for The Cinnamon Kitchen and Priyasha Saluja, ensuring consistent messaging and positioning
- Identify and close listicle features, media placements, and editorial opportunities in top digital and print publications
- Build and maintain relationships with journalists, bloggers, influencers, and strategic community partners
- Lead outreach and negotiation for brand collaborations, including commercial terms, timelines, and deliverables
- Draft, edit, and distribute press releases, brand briefs, founder features, and media kits
- Track PR coverage, measure impact, and prepare monthly performance reports
- Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, design, content) to ensure aligned communication and smooth execution
- Identify opportunities for founder-focused visibility (interviews, podcast features, panel participation, etc.)
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in public relations, preferably in the D2C, lifestyle, food, or wellness space
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong network of media and influencer contacts is a plus
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of PR pipelines
- Good negotiation and project management skills
- Passion for storytelling, community-building, and creating brand visibility through earned media
