Job Description

Job Scope

  • Develop, implement and lead the overarching PR and corporate communications roadmap for the pre-launch, launch and operational phases of the project
  • Navigate complex, multi-agency to government relationships to ensure unified messaging across all public-facing narratives
  • Set up the entity's standard operating procedures for media engagement, press office, functions and tracking protocols
  • Build and maintain strong networks with mainstream editors, journalists, defence correspondents, lifestyle media and digital content creators
  • Design and implement the entity's 1st Crisis Communication Plan for various high-stakes scenarios
  • Oversee the digital PR roadmap, working closely with marketing teams to synchronize social media messaging, website copy and community outreach
  • Establish channels to listen to and address public feedback, ensuring the community feels a genuine sense of belonging to the venue

Requirements:
. Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communications, Public Relations/Marketing&/Journalism related fields

. Minimum 10 yrs & above of professional experience in Corporate Communications, PR with media relations & min 5 years in a leadership/senior managerial capacity.

. Proven experience managing high-stakes crisis communications with major public infrastructure, national events or public sector issues.

. Prior experience in a start-up or greenfield business division

. Exceptional written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills to manage diverse stakeholders.
