PPC Engineer (Production Planning & Control)

Job Summary:
The PPC Engineer will be responsible for production planning, scheduling, monitoring production activities, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring timely delivery of products as per customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans.
- Monitor production schedules and ensure adherence to plan.
- Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Stores, and Quality departments.
- Track raw material availability and communicate shortages.
- Maintain production planning records and reports.
- Follow up on work orders and production status.
- Ensure on-time delivery of customer orders.
- Analyze production data and prepare MIS reports.
- Monitor inventory levels and support inventory control activities.
- Identify production bottlenecks and suggest improvements.
- Update ERP/MRP systems with planning and production data.
- Assist in capacity planning and resource utilization.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of Production Planning & Control processes.
- Understanding of manufacturing operations.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, Reports).
- Knowledge of ERP software preferred.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Educational Qualification:
- B.E./B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering or related field.
Experience:
- 1–2 years of experience in Production Planning & Control (PPC) in a manufacturing company.
Salary: As per company standards and candidate experience.
