PPC ENGINEER

Job Summary:

Responsible for planning, scheduling, and monitoring production activities to ensure timely delivery, optimal utilization of resources, and efficient manufacturing operations. The role involves coordinating with multiple departments to align production schedules with customer requirements and operational capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop daily, weekly, and monthly production plans in coordination with Production, Purchase, and Stores teams.
• Monitor and control production schedules to ensure on-time delivery as per customer requirements.
• Review and analyze material availability, machine capacity, and manpower utilization to optimize production efficiency.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for smooth material and information flow.
• Track and report WIP (Work in Progress) and finished goods inventory levels.
• Prepare and maintain production planning reports, MIS, and dashboards.
• Identify process bottlenecks and implement corrective actions for continuous improvement.
• Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials.
• Support planning activities for new product introductions and ensure resource readiness.
• Collaborate with the dispatch team for timely shipment scheduling.

Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and inventory management.
• Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional environments.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles preferred.

Qualification:

Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering.

Additional certification in PPC, Supply Chain Management, or Lean preferred.
