Powertrain System engineering & Simulation development

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

B.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech in Mechanical / Automobile / Electrical / Electronic Engineering.

Minimum 5 years of experience

JOB ROLE:

System engineering of Hybrid Powertrain System.

Simulation Model development for estimation of CO2, EV range, Vehicle performance etc. with Hybrid Powertrain system.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design and develop simulation models for Hybrid Powertrain system (including vehicle dynamic) using specialized simulation software (e.g., MATLAB, Simulink) for estimation of CO2, EV range, Acceleration Performance, Energy Consumption etc.

Execution of Simulation / Estimation work for right sizing of system to achieve the defined targets by using in-house developed Simulation models (MATLAB, Simulink).

Lead & support the team for development of Simulation Model for Hybrid Controller Calibration.

Analyze simulation results to identify trends, inefficiencies, or potential failures. - Interpret data to provide actionable insights for improvements.

Tracking the trend of future powertrain technology, regulation, governmentpolicy, etc.

COMPETENCY REQUIRMENTS TECHNICAL /FUNCTIONAL:

Prior hands-on experience in System Engineering, Simulation Model Development of ICE/HEV/EV powertrains of passenger car for estimation of CO2, EV range, Acceleration Performance, Energy Consumption etc.

Proficiency in MATLAB, Simulink & Python for System Modeling, and data analysis.

Proficiency in know-how of Hybrid Powertrain architecture including Electrical-Electronics architecture concepts

Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment as well as be self-motivated for independent work.

Flexibility in handling multiple projects and changing priorities.

Ability to interpret complex data and translate it into meaningful insights. - Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking capabilities.
