Power BI Lead
Experience Overall: 7 to 10 years of overall experience with 4+ years in Power BI
Relevant Experiences:
3+ years of Business Intelligence, Data Warehouse experience. .(Good Knowledge on BI and Data Warehousing concepts).
3+ years experience with Data modelling with Power Query and Power Pivot
4+ years experience and a deep technical knowledge of Power BI Desktop / Pro / Premium
2+ years experience with advanced MDX and DAX expressions
Visualization Skillsets: -
- Handson experience with Power BI desktop Dashboard and Report development with sound formatting and navigation Skills
- Strong aptitude for Power BI architecture and its integration with embedded application and Security features along with deep exposure to Power BI Pro and Premium capabilities and Apps
- Expertise in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for creating custom calculations in Power BI is crucial. Work with Query Editor and troubleshooting DAX formulae for performance optimization.
- Responsible fordeveloping visual reports, KPI scorecards, and dashboards using Power BI desktop
- Should haveexposure to requirement understanding for translating data into informative reports and visuals
- Sound knowledge in Power BI report publishing and administration.
- Sound knowledge Role based security along with integration using Power Automate for workflows.
- Troubleshoot data-related issues, maintain the Power BI infrastructure, and use the latest Power BI features, updates, and best practices.
- Exposure to Power BI gateway, content pack, advance and recent features of Power BI embedding using REST API
- Work with Multiple Data sources and knowledge of selection of import, Live connection, and direct query data importing
- Creation of HLD and LLD design documents and Unit Test cases
- Exposure latest features released every month for Power BI services.
Database Key Skills :
- Handson experience with T-SQL code for creating Stored Procedure, functions, and handling data validations.
- Performance Monitoring using execution plans and Index tuning Designed and Developed Database Objects like Tables, Stored Procedures, user defined data types and functions for the project.
- Developed, tested, and implemented Referential Integrity rules and regulations through constraints, triggers and views, partitioned views.
- Sound Knowledge of Data Modelling, with exposure to Dimensions, FACTS and DWH and ability to understand the DATA Model to be built for Power BI Data Visualization
- Sound IT experience in Database Design, Development, and business intelligence of Microsoft SQL Server 2016/2012
- Experience in working with Data Models, relationship management.
- Creating virtual / physical relationships and indexes on requirement basis and sound exposure to ER and cardinality in Data Model and DWH
- Exposure to SQL query Execution Plan and SQL Profiler for performance tuning of Data.
