We are looking for an experienced
Power BI Developer to design, develop, and optimize business intelligence dashboards, reports, and data models. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in
Power BI, SQL, and data modeling, along with hands-on experience working with
Postgres and Snowflake databases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, publish, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports with high standards of usability, data accuracy, and performance.
- Build and optimize data models (star/snowflake schemas) for analytics and reporting.
- Use strong SQL skills to extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources including Postgres and Snowflake.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and convert them into meaningful BI solutions.
- Implement DAX calculations, measures, KPIs, and advanced visualizations.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and validation across multiple systems.
- Maintain documentation for data sources, processes, and report logic.
- Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to support reporting and analytics initiatives.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI (reports, dashboards, Power Query, DAX, data modeling)
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and optimization
- Experience working with Postgres databases
- Exposure to Snowflake cloud data warehouse
- Strong understanding of reporting, analytics, and BI concepts
- Ability to analyze data and translate business needs into actionable insights
