Job Description

We are seeking a Power BI Developer with a minimum of 7 years of experience in developing business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate is a proactive and detail-oriented professional with expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards. You will be responsible for translating business requirements into technical solutions and ensuring data accuracy and integrity across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Report & Dashboard Development: Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards that meet business requirements.
  • Data Modeling & Analysis: Build efficient data models using DAX for complex calculations and measures. You'll also perform data analysis to identify trends and patterns that drive business decisions.
  • Data Integration: Create and optimize SQL queries to extract data from various sources. You will also develop and maintain ETL processes to transform and load data into the Power BI environment.
  • Collaboration & Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency. You will provide technical guidance and support to junior team members and stay updated with the latest Power BI developments to recommend best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: A minimum of 7 years of experience in developing business intelligence solutions with a focus on Power BI.
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of DAX for advanced calculations.
  • Expertise in writing complex SQL queries.
  • Proficiency in data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with ETL processes and tools for data integration.
  • Experience in designing and optimizing data models for performance and scalability.
  • Personal Attributes: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for working effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Preferred Skills: Experience with other BI tools (Tableau, QlikView), knowledge of data visualization best practices, and familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.
