Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled
Power BI & SQL Developer to join our data analytics team. This role is ideal for a technical expert who thrives in a client-facing environment and is passionate about transforming raw data into meaningful insights.
You will be responsible for designing high-quality dashboards, building scalable data models, and managing complex data architectures. As this role involves direct interaction with US-based clients, strong communication skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Visualization & UI/UX: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, visually compelling Power BI dashboards with a strong focus on intuitive UI/UX.
- Database Engineering: Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to support efficient data extraction and transformation.
- Stakeholder Management: Conduct discovery sessions with US-based clients, gather business requirements, provide updates, and present actionable insights.
- Data Modeling: Develop robust data models using Star and Snowflake schemas. Create and manage advanced DAX measures and calculated columns.
- Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in reports and datasets. Implement optimizations in Power BI and SQL to improve responsiveness and load times.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 5 8 years of hands-on experience in Power BI and SQL development.
- Power BI Expertise:
Strong Proficiency In Power BI Desktop And Service, Including
- Advanced DAX
- Row-Level Security (RLS)
- Gateways and data refresh strategies
- SQL Proficiency: Expertise in SQL (T-SQL, PL/SQL, or equivalent) for data manipulation, validation, and performance tuning.
- UI/UX Mindset: Strong design sense with the ability to create polished, user-friendly, and business-aligned dashboards.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written English skills with experience in handling international stakeholders and client interactions.
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
- Cloud Data Warehousing: Experience with Snowflake (architecture, SnowSQL, data loading).
- ETL/ELT Tools: Hands-on experience with tools like Azure Data Factory, DBT, or similar.
