Job Title: Power Platform Backend Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop custom Power Apps solutions (Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps) aligned to enterprise business processes.
- Build scalable workflow automations using Power Automate including cloud flows, desktop flows, approvals, and scheduled automations.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and custom connectors with enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, MES, QMS, LIMS, and HRMS platforms.
- Architect backend data models using Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL Server, and Azure services.
- Implement business rules, role-based access control (RBAC), auditability, and governance controls.
- Optimize Power Automate workflows for performance, resiliency, monitoring, and exception handling.
- Collaborate with business analysts and process owners to translate operational requirements into digital solutions.
- Participate in solution reviews, testing, validation, and deployment activities.
- Maintain technical documentation, SOP-aligned workflow documentation, and support knowledge transfer.
- Ensure solutions align with regulated industry expectations including validation readiness, traceability, and secure data handling.
Technical Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3–6 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Strong expertise in workflow automation, approvals, HTTP triggers, and desktop flows (RPA).Experience integrating external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and custom connectors.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Dataverse architecture and data modeling.
- Familiarity with Azure services including Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, and Key Vault.
- Working knowledge of JSON, OData, and Power Fx.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 ecosystem including Teams, SharePoint, and Outlook integrations.
- Understanding of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) using Azure DevOps or Power Platform Pipelines.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Microsoft certifications such as PL-100, PL-200, PL-400, or PL-600 preferred.
- Experience supporting regulated industry environments such as MedTech, Pharma, Healthcare, or Manufacturing.
- Exposure to validation documentation, audit support, or GxP-aligned systems.
- Experience with Dynamics 365 modules.
- Hands-on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, SharePoint, SQL Server, REST APIs, Power Fx, and Microsoft 365.
