Job Description:
Kia India is seeking a qualified candidate to join our team as a Power Train New Car Quality and Vehicle Diagnosis Expert. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of powertrain systems in new vehicle models, focusing on optimizing engine performance, fuel efficiency, and overall vehicle reliability. You will conduct thorough inspections, tests, and analyses to diagnose issues, provide feedback for improvements, and support the development of innovative solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to contribute to the success of our vehicles and enhance customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

- New model developmet and PPAP activities
- Conduct powertrain testing and quality assessments on new vehicle prototypes.
- Perform detailed vehicle diagnostics and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with development teams to implement corrective actions based on test results.
- Analyze data and generate reports to track powertrain performance metrics.
- Participate in design reviews and provide insights to improve powertrain systems.
- Support ongoing quality initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
- Provide technical training and guidance to junior staff and other departments as needed.

Skills and Tools Required:

-INCA and CAN OE 
- In-depth knowledge of powertrain systems including engines, transmissions, and hybrid/electric systems.
- Proficient in vehicle diagnostic tools and equipment, including OBD-II scanners and dynamometers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in data analysis software.
- Familiarity with quality management systems and processes in automotive manufacturing.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience with automotive software and simulation tools is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in quality assurance or vehicle diagnostics within the automotive industry is advantageous.
