Job Description

We are looking to recruit a Power Platform Support Analyst to join our growing team and support the delivery, operation, and ongoing stability of Power Platform solutions across client and internal environments.

The successful candidate will work closely with Power Platform Developers to ensure solutions are effectively deployed, configured, maintained, and supported across Development, Test, UAT, and Production environments. While this is primarily a support and platform operations role, the position requires strong technical understanding to troubleshoot issues, support deployments, and maintain platform performance and reliability.

Experience with application lifecycle management (ALM), deployment tooling, environment configuration, release management, and PowerShell scripting will be highly desirable.

Our technology stack primarily includes Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint, SQL Server, Power BI, and supporting C# components, along with exposure to Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools.

Key Responsibilities

1. Practice Gateway Support

Support our flagship accountancy portal, including:

· Supporting production environments and releases

· Assisting with deployments, upgrades, and hotfixes

· Investigating and resolving incidents and user-reported issues

· Supporting developers by validating changes and monitoring solution health

2. Client Project Support

Provide operational and deployment support for:

· Practice Gateway implementations

· Power BI reporting solutions

· Power Platform and RPA-based solutions

Responsibilities include:

· Environment setup and configuration

· Deployment support

· Post-go-live issue resolution and maintenance

3. Internal Systems & Platform Support

Assist with:

· Supporting and improving internal systems and data platforms

· Maintaining environments, security, and access controls

· Improving monitoring and support processes to reduce operational issues

Requirements

Experience Required

· 3–6 years of experience in technical support, application support, or platform operations roles

· Suitable for candidates in their first or second professional role looking to build expertise within the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem

· Ability to work independently and manage assigned responsibilities effectively

· Strong troubleshooting and technical issue-resolution skills

· Experience supporting deployments, live/production environments, and development teams

· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

Required Skills

Microsoft Power Platform

· Dataverse entities and configuration

· Environment and solution management

· Understanding of forms, workflows, plugins, and customisations

· Experience supporting Power Platform solutions

Power Automate

· Monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving failed or degraded flows

· Supporting automation processes and integrations

SQL Server

· Writing SQL queries for data investigation and reporting support

· Troubleshooting data-related issues

Power BI

· Supporting reports and datasets

· Troubleshooting refresh failures and access-related issues

Power Apps Portals

· Supporting configurations, permissions, and user access

· Basic troubleshooting using Liquid and JavaScript

PowerShell

· Supporting deployments and environment setup

· Automating repeatable administrative tasks

SharePoint

· Supporting lists, libraries, permissions, and integrations with Power Platform

Desirable Skills

· Basic C# understanding to interpret plugins, integrations, and logged errors

· Exposure to Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools

· Knowledge of application lifecycle management and release management processes

Preferred Candidate Profile

· Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

· Strong communication and stakeholder coordination abilities

· Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills

· Ability to work collaboratively with developers and support teams

· Strong ownership mindset and proactive approach toward issue resolution

· Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
