Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Power Automate Desktop Developer with 5–9 years of overall experience in automation and a strong focus on Microsoft Power Platform. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and deploy robust automation solutions using Power Automate Desktop (RPA) to streamline business processes, improve efficiency, and reduce manual effort across the organization.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end RPA solutions using Power Automate Desktop
- Analyze business processes and identify automation opportunities
- Build and optimize desktop flows including attended and unattended automations
- Integrate Power Automate Desktop with Power Automate Cloud flows
- Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Handle exception management, error handling, and logging mechanisms
- Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization of automations
- Create technical documentation, process design documents (PDD), and solution design documents (SDD)
- Stay updated with new Power Platform features and RPA best practices
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Power Automate Desktop (PAD)
- Experience with Power Automate Cloud, triggers, connectors, and approvals
- Proficiency in scripting or logic using:
- SQL (preferred)
- JavaScript / VB / Python (good to have)
- Experience with UI automation, web automation, and desktop applications
- Knowledge of exception handling, retries, and logging strategies in RPA
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Dataverse – preferred)
- Understanding of SDLC, version control, and CI/CD concepts
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Power Platform certification (PL-500, PL-900, or equivalent)
- Previous experience with other RPA tools (UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere)
- Domain experience in BFSI, Healthcare, Manufacturing, or Shared Services
