Role Summary:

Hands-on Power Platform developer responsible for designing, building, testing, and supporting low-code business applications and workflow automations using Microsoft Power Platform. Works under the direction of the Power Platform Lead, delivering governed, scalable, and maintainable solutions integrated with SharePoint, Dataverse, and enterprise systems within a regulated financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps using Power Apps aligned to enterprise standards
• Design, implement, and optimize Power Automate workflows for business process automation
• Build solutions leveraging Dataverse, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft 365 services
• Integrate Power Platform solutions with internal systems via custom connectors, REST APIs, and Azure services
• Participate in solution design reviews to ensure performance, security, and scalability
• Support application testing, deployment, and post-production stabilization
• Troubleshoot defects and production issues; perform root cause analysis and remediation
• Adhere to governance controls including environment strategy, DLP policies, and data security requirements
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines for Power Platform using Azure DevOps or GitHub
• Leverage Copilot, AI-assisted development, and vibe coding practices where appropriate
• Maintain technical documentation, solution diagrams, and support artifacts
• Collaborate closely with SharePoint, Full Stack, and QA teams to deliver integrated solutions

Technical Skills:

· Power Apps (Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps)

· Power Automate (cloud flows, approvals, integrations)

· Dataverse

· SharePoint Online integration

· Custom connectors and REST API integration

· Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Teams, Outlook, OneDrive)

· Source control (Git) and application lifecycle management

· Basic understanding of Azure services (Functions, API Management preferred)

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional development experience, with strong emphasis on Power Platform
• Proven hands-on experience building enterprise-grade Power Apps and Power Automate solutions
• Strong understanding of business process automation and workflow design
• Experience working within governed Power Platform environments (DLP, environment strategy, security roles)
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts for low-code platforms
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Experience working in enterprise or regulated environments preferred
• PL-200 or PL-400 certification preferred

Methodologies & Delivery Practices:

• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Experience working in Agile (Scrum) and Waterfall delivery models.
• Proficient in using JIRA for defect management, test tracking, and collaboration with development teams.
