Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced
Collections Test Analyst to support the testing of collections applications with a focus on quality assurance, automation, and system integration testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing with exposure to
Experian PowerCurve Collections,
TOSCA, and
Agile methodologies. You will work with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, prepare test plans, execute testing, and support automation and integration activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and perform static testing.
- Develop detailed test plans, test scripts, and test cases based on business logic and user requirements.
- Estimate testing efforts and identify test data needs.
- Execute System Testing and System Integration Testing (SIT).
- Create and maintain traceability matrices to map requirements to test cases.
- Raise and manage defects, participate in triage meetings, and verify fixes.
- Design and maintain automated test cases in TOSCA; support regression suite updates.
- Collaborate closely with other teams during integration and release cycles.
- Raise risks and ensure adherence to testing standards and processes.
Skills And Qualifications
- 58 years of hands-on experience in software testing.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related IT discipline.
- ISTQB Certification is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of JSON, XML, XSD, WSDL, and SQL.
- Prior experience with Experian PowerCurve Collections or similar collections systems.
- Hands-on experience with TOSCA or equivalent test automation tools.
- Exposure to Database/ETL testing is a plus.
- Good understanding of mainframe environments (z/OS), Vision PLUS, and integration points.
- Familiar with Agile methodologies and working in Scrum teams.
- Experience using tools like JIRA, Xray, and Confluence.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional coordination skills.
