Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced
PowerCurve Collections (PCC) Developer with strong expertise in configuring, customizing, and integrating Experian's PCC platform. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in
PCC implementation, environment setup, scripting, API integrations, batch configuration, and performance troubleshooting.
The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality PCC solutions aligned with business requirements, compliance norms, and enterprise architecture standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the installation, configuration, and customization of the PowerCurve Collections platform across multiple client environments (Dev, SIT, UAT, Pre-Prod, Prod).
- Work with infrastructure teams to set up and configure RHEL 8/9 environments, application servers, middleware, and PCC components.
- Configure collections workflows, including treatment paths, action codes, contact strategies, user roles, case lists, and UI screens.
- Develop and enhance business rules using Groovy, Java, XML, and PCC rule configuration tools.
- Integrate PCC with upstream and downstream systems (dialers, payment gateways, data hubs, API mesh, etc.) via REST/SOAP APIs, flat files, or messaging systems.
- Implement and manage batch jobs, data import/export routines, and scheduling activities.
- Analyze system logs, monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide root cause analysis and resolution.
- Ensure adherence to security, audit, and compliance standards during installation, configuration, and deployments.
- Support SIT, UAT, performance testing, and production cutovers.
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, environment configuration details, and deployment steps.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 58 years of hands-on experience in implementing and developing PowerCurve Collections (PCC) solutions.
- Strong knowledge of PCC architecture, installation procedures, configuration components, and deployment models.
- Hands-on expertise with RHEL 8/9 (Linux) environments.
- Experience working with Tomcat/JBoss, WebLogic, or WebSphere application servers.
- Strong scripting experience in Groovy, Java, XML, and SQL (Oracle preferred).
- Good understanding of collection strategies, treatment design, scoring logic, and workflow configurations.
- Experience with monitoring tools (Splunk/Grafana) and job schedulers (Control-M or similar).
- Ability to collaborate with DevOps, DBA, Network/Security teams, and Business Analysts.
- Excellent debugging skills, log analysis, and performance troubleshooting capabilities.
- Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills (Good To Have)
- Knowledge of PowerCurve Strategy Design Studio or PCC rule authoring tools.
- Experience in PCC upgrades, patch deployments, or multi-environment orchestration.
- Exposure to high-availability PCC deployments, clustering, or cloud-hosted PCC environments.
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in collections (e.g., dispute handling, audit logs).
- Experience in the banking/financial services domain.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
