Job Description:
- To Analyze and gather requirements from the customer and/or the end user and transform it into a detailed Requirement Specs document
- Responsible for doing a complete Impact Analysis of any requirements
- Provide multiple solution approaches to the requirement and assist the customer in selecting the best approach
- Preparation of the technical design document by thorough analysis of the requirement
- Responsible for the development and maintenance of a robust application
- Responsible for development using Datawindows Datawindow Buffers PowerBuilder events Dynamic Datawindows window types and window events
- Responsible for Read and Write data from XML Excel and Text files and Extract files from TAR files using PowerBuilder
- Responsible for Developing and maintenance of database objects like PLSQL blocks Stored Procedures Packages Functions Types views Triggers etc
- Incorporate changes and project activities related to all applications
- Preparation of unit test cases based on the requirements and design documents and also responsible for unit testing of new objects
- Providing support to end business users in acceptance testing of the application
- Implementation support to customers technical staff
- Change management and Quality Assurance of all Product Releases
- Strong communication skills and excel in managing client interactions with professionalism and ease
Must have - Powerbuilder, MYSQL , PLSQL ,Bash/Shell scripting, Unix/Linux scripting
Good to have – SVN, RedHat Linux
