Job Description

WMO is implementing a centralized Data Warehouse leveraging Azure SQL and Power BI as its enterprise reporting platform. The consultant will help deliver intuitive, high-adoption dashboards, management KPIs, and governed analytics solutions across functions such as HR, Finance, and Project Management.

Detailed Job Description

Primary Responsibilities

Analyze functional and technical designs prepared by project teams.
Design and implement Power BI dashboards and reports based on enterprise DWH datasets.
Define data storytelling and UI/UX approaches to improve user experience.
Review existing reports and implement enhancements.
Create dashboard mockups and prototypes and gather stakeholder feedback.
Build KPI-driven at-a-glance dashboards with intuitive navigation.
Design SharePoint pages/portal for dataset catalogues, dashboards, and reporting assets.
Support automation initiatives leveraging DWH datasets and reports.
Collaborate with Power Platform, Azure, and SharePoint teams for solution integration.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

Minimum 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design and development of high-quality dashboards.
Strong Power BI dashboard development expertise.
Advanced DAX knowledge for calculated measures and dynamic reporting.
Data storytelling and visualization best practices.
Dashboard navigation design, drill-throughs, bookmarks, slicer synchronization, themes, formatting, and accessibility standards.
Experience integrating Power BI with SharePoint and Azure-based environments.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Fluent English communication (written and verbal).

Certification Requirements

Mandatory: Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300) or equivalent.
Additional certifications in Power BI, UI/UX Design, HCI, Data Storytelling, or Azure SQL would be advantageous.
