Job Title:Automation and Data (BI) Quality Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation and Data Quality Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Power BI, ETL, Data bricks, Python, and data quality testing. Additionally, the candidate should have strong automation testing skills and backend testing experience. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data engineering solutions that ensure high-quality data and efficient data processing. The successful candidate will be a key player in our team, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities

Data Engineering:Design, develop, and implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using Power BI, Data bricks, and Python to extract, transform, and load data into various data warehouses and data lakes.

Develop and maintain data pipelines to ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency.

Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to design and implement data models and data visualizations.

Data Quality Testing:Develop and execute comprehensive data quality testing strategies to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Identify and resolve data quality issues through root cause analysis and corrective action. Develop and maintain data quality metrics and dashboards to track data quality performance.

Automation Testing:Design, develop, and implement automated testing frameworks to ensure high-quality data processing and data engineering solutions.

Develop and execute automated tests to validate data processing, data quality, and data integrity. Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated testing into the development lifecycle.

Backend Testing:Design, develop, and execute comprehensive backend testing strategies to ensure data processing and data engineering solutions meet business requirements. Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and system tests to validate data processing and data engineering solutions. Collaborate with development teams to integrate backend testing into the development lifecycle.

Collaboration and Communication:Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, developers, and stakeholders to drive business outcomes through data-driven insights.

Communicate technical solutions and data insights to non-technical stakeholders through clear and concise reporting and presentations.

Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and maintainability.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data quality testing, automation testing, and backend testing.
• Strong expertise in Power BI, ETL, Data bricks, Python, and data quality testing.
• Experience with automation testing frameworks, such as Pytest or Unit test.
• Experience with backend testing frameworks, such as Pytest or Behave.
• Strong understanding of data processing, data engineering, and data quality concepts.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
