Power BI On Fabric Developer

Job Description:

• Design develop and maintain Power BI reports dashboards semantic models and DAX measures
• Develop end to end data solutions using Microsoft Fabric including Lakehouse Data Warehouse and Notebooks
• Build scalable Bronze Silver Gold data architectures using Fabric Lakehouse and Delta tables
• Develop data ingestion and transformation pipelines using Fabric Data Factory and PySpark SQL
• Design optimized Power BI semantic models using star schema relationships calculated columns measures and calculation groups
• Develop complex DAX for business calculations time intelligence KPIs and analytical reporting
• Implement Direct Lake Import and DirectQuery models based on performance and business requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Optimize Power BI performance using DAX optimization query reduction model optimization aggregations partitioning and incremental refresh
• Implement Row Level Security RLS and security access controls
• Integrate Power BI with Fabric Warehouse Lakehouse SQL Server Azure Data Lake and other enterprise data sources
• Monitor and troubleshoot Fabric pipelines notebooks semantic models and Power BI refresh performance issues
• Work with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into analytical solutions
• Implement deployment and lifecycle management using Git integration deployment pipelines and Azure DevOps
• Apply data governance naming standards metadata management and workspace security best practices
• Experience with Microsoft Purview Fabric monitoring OneLake and Fabric capacity management is an advantage

Technical Requirements:
