Senior Power BI Developer – Tableau to Power BI Migration
We are seeking an experienced Senior Power BI Developer with strong expertise in Tableau to Power BI migration projects. The ideal candidate will analyse existing Tableau dashboards, rebuild reports in Power BI, and ensure accurate migration of business logic, KPIs, and visualisations.
Key Responsibilities
- Convert Tableau dashboards and reports into Power BI solutions
- Develop Power BI datasets, dashboards, and advanced DAX measures
- Rebuild Tableau calculations including LOD expressions and table calculations
- Design efficient data models and optimise report performance
- Validate migrated data for consistency and accuracy
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and product teams
- Support UAT, deployment, and documentation activities
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and Tableau
- Experience in Tableau to Power BI migration projects
- Advanced SQL and data modelling expertise
- Knowledge of Power BI Service, gateways, refresh schedules, and RLS
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Azure, Power BI Premium/Fabric
- Exposure to enterprise or regulated environments
