ZocialOne is looking for an experienced Power BI Developer for a short-term assignment.
Your responsibility is simple and clear:
Build a complete Power BI dashboard (from scratch) using our PostgreSQL database that is accurate, efficient, automated, reusable, and ready for long-term use.
We already have basic dashboards and mockups. We now need a professional who can convert them into a production-grade, scalable BI system that updates automatically and enables our team to make data-driven decisions.
This is not a support role. This is a build-and-handover role.
What You Will Build & Own- Connect Power BI to our PostgreSQL databases securely
- Build clean, optimized data models suitable for large data volumes
- Create dashboards for:
User analytics
Account analytics
Posting analytics
Growth trends
Subscription plan and retention reports
Device/platform reports
Conversion funnel insights
- Implement DAX calculations, measures, relationships, and filters
- Create interactive visuals, drill-down reports, and reusable templates
- Configure scheduled refreshes (e.g., every 3 hours)
- Ensure dashboards remain stable when data scales to millions of rows
- Document the setup so internal teams can modify or extend the dashboards
- Handover with complete transparency of data sources, queries, and logic
Required Skills- 38 years of experience working with Power BI
- Strong SQL skills; experience connecting Power BI to PostgreSQL
- Proven experience building end-to-end production dashboards
- Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL, Power Query, DAX
- Ability to design high-performance BI systems for fast refresh
- Experience scheduling automatic data refresh with gateways
- Ability to work independently and deliver fast within a week
Ideal Candidate- Has previously built dashboards for SaaS or analytics products
- Understands funnel metrics, growth dashboards, and user analytics
- Can transform messy raw data into clean, business-friendly dashboards
- Delivers pixel-perfect, founder-friendly dashboards
- Can complete the work fast within 12 weeks
- Comfortable with a pure contract / project-based role
