Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated
Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions that transform data into actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power BI, data modeling, SQL, and dashboard development, along with the ability to work closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into BI solutions.
- Create and optimize data models using Power BI Desktop.
- Develop DAX calculations, measures, KPIs, and calculated columns.
- Build and manage ETL processes from various data sources.
- Connect Power BI with databases, cloud platforms, APIs, and enterprise applications.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and report performance optimization.
- Configure row-level security (RLS) and data governance standards.
- Collaborate with business users, analysts, and data engineers.
- Troubleshoot reporting issues and provide ongoing support.
- Document BI solutions, data models, and development standards.

Work Experience
Technical Skills
- 8+ years of experience in Power BI development.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Power BI Desktop
- Power BI Service
- Power Query (M Language)
- DAX (Data Analysis Expressions)
- Proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
- Experience with data modeling concepts (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema).
- Knowledge of ETL processes and data integration.
- Experience with Azure Data Services (preferred):
- Azure SQL
- Azure Data Factory
- Synapse Analytics
- Databricks
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts.
- Familiarity with Excel, SSRS, or Tableau is an advantage.
