Power BI Developer

Roles & Responsibilities:

• 2 to 6 years of total IT experience, with min 4+ years of relevant experience
• Good Interpersonal skill and ability to manage multiple tasks with enthusiasm.
• Interact with clients to understand the requirements.
• Up to date knowledge about the best practices and advancements in Power BI
• Should have an analytical and problem-solving mindset and approach.

Mandatory:

Education: Only BE will be prefered

• Using data modelling techniques, design and deploy database schemas.
• Strong SQL skills and SQL Performance tuning. Familiar with creating T-SQL objects, scripts, views, and stored procedure.
• Development and maintenance of (SSIS) ETL platform/applications.
• Diagnose and resolve database access and performance issues with excellent experience in query optimization and indexing.
• Understand business requirements in BI context and design data models to transform raw data into meaningful insights.
• Good knowledge of Power BI (Power BI Service, Power BI Report Server) and provide expertise in Data Modeling and provide recommendations.
• Experience working with direct query and import mode.
• Expertise in implementing static & dynamic Row level security.
• Knowledge to integrate Power BI reports in external web applications.
• Should have experience setting up data gateways & data preparation.
• Creation of Dashboards & Visual Interactive Reports using Power BI
• Experience working with third party custom visuals like Zebra BI etc.
• Have good knowledge of the various DAX functions and ability to write complex DAX queries.
• Awareness of star and snowflake schemas in DWH and DWH concepts
• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation.

Good to have:

• Experience in Power Automate
• C# and .Net knowledge
• Knowledge in Tabular Models
• JSON data handling experience.
