Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Power BI Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business intelligence and data analytics, with expertise in Power BI development, data modeling, and creating interactive dashboards. This role requires a solid understanding of Power BI Service workspaces, Azure SQL/SharePoint connectors, and proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and RLS.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards using data from various sources.
• Design and implement data models (star schema) to ensure efficient data processing and reporting.
• Create custom reports using Power Query, DAX, and RLS (Row-Level Security).
• Manage Power BI workspaces within the Power BI Service.
• Integrate Azure SQL and SharePoint connectors to pull data from different platforms.
• Develop intuitive and user-friendly dashboard UX to support decision-making.
• Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data through extensive testing and validation.
• Optimize dashboard performance for scalability and usability in production environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 35 years of experience in business intelligence (BI) development.
• Proven track record with 2+ enterprise-grade dashboards in production.
• Expertise in data modeling (star schema), Power Query, DAX, and RLS.
• Experience with Power BI Service workspaces and dashboard UX design.
• Familiarity with Azure SQL and SharePoint connectors.
• Ability to manage complex datasets and create efficient reporting solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Power BI (PL-300 or prior DA-100) is a nice-to-have.
