Power BI Developer – immediate joiners preferred

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Power BI with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in data modeling, report development, and dashboard creation, with a strong understanding of ERP systems. The ideal candidate will serve as developer in Power BI and work with ERP data to provide actionable insights through dynamic dashboards. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams including finance, operations, and IT.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports from ERP and other enterprise systems.
• Transform raw ERP data into meaningful visualizations for business decision-making.
• Write efficient DAX queries and calculated measures for performance optimization.
• Create robust data models and use Power Query for complex data transformations.
• Configure Power BI Gateways, scheduled/on-demand refreshes, and row-level security (RLS).
• Collaborate with ERP analysts and business users to understand data structure and reporting requirements.
• Implement and manage Power BI deployment pipelines, workspaces, and content promotion strategies.
• Document solutions and conduct training sessions to enable self-service BI adoption.
• Stay updated on Power BI releases and ERP data model changes to adapt reports accordingly.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI Desktop and Service.
• Proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M language), and SQL, SSAS
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience working with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle ERP, NetSuite).
• Experience integrating and visualizing data from ERP modules like Finance, Sales, Inventory, Procurement, and HR.
• Ability to analyze complex data from relational and non-relational sources.
• Strong communication and analytical skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Experience managing and mentoring junior Power BI developers.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to Microsoft Azure (Azure SQL, Data Factory, Synapse, etc.).
• Experience in working with Business Central, Dynamics 365, or other ERP cloud platforms.
• Understanding of finance and supply chain management processes from an ERP reporting perspective.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Certification in Power BI or Microsoft Data Platform (preferred but not mandatory).
