Job Description:
- Required Skills: Power BI with strong experience in DAX, Power Query, SQL, and data visualization.
- Scope: The resource will support reporting tasks within the Dive-in-Data initiative and may also assist the data engineering team as needed.

- Power BI (Advanced Developer) with strong expertise in Power BI and web deployment.
- Proficient in data modeling, Power Query, SQL, visualization, and advanced DAX for KPI implementation.
- Sound knowledge of dashboard design principles usability, layout, interactivity, and data storytelling.
- Develop, design, and maintain scalable Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Transform raw data from multiple sources into meaningful insights using Power BI.
- Conduct data analysis and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
- Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and best practices.
- Experience in performance optimization query folding, aggregations, incremental refresh, and dataset size management.
- Hands-on experience in deployment and governance of Power BI solutions.
- Ability to collaborate with Data Modelers/ETL teams for field and transformation validation, and with SMEs to ensure alignment with business requirements.
Requirements:
- Proven expertise in Power Query, SQL, Power BI including data modeling, visualization, and DAX.
- Strong understanding of dashboard design principles such as usability, layout, interactivity, and data storytelling.
- Hands-on experience in performance optimization, including query folding, incremental refresh, and dataset management.
- Practical experience in deployment and governance of Power BI solutions.
- Ability to work collaboratively across technical and functional teams.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving ability.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role (5+ years preferred).
- Strong proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, Power Query (M language), and DAX.
- Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
- Familiarity with SQL and relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
- Ability to interpret complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
