Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Power BI Developer to support the design and development of power and cooling concepts through data-driven insights. The role involves data ingestion, transformation, analysis, visualization, and preparing detailed engineering and concept design reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and design power and cooling concepts and prepare comprehensive engineering reports.
- Perform data analysis using Python, R, OpenRefine, and related tools.
- Build interactive dashboards and visualizations using Grafana, Kibana, and Power BI.
- Design and implement solutions using Microsoft Power Platform.
- Perform data exploration and analysis using SQL (EDA and complex querying).
- Handle data ingestion and transformation using Apache Kafka, Apache NiFi, Airflow, and traditional ETL tools.
- Use Excel and Power Query for data analysis, transformation, and reporting.
- Create clear, impactful presentations for technical and executive audiences.
- Lead concept design presentations and delivery for internal teams and external customers.
- Engage with customers at an executive level, providing leadership during discussions and reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality analytical solutions.
Must-Have Skills
- Strong experience in Data Visualization (Grafana, Kibana, Power BI).
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (design and implementation).
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power Query.
- Strong SQL skills for exploratory data analysis and reporting.
- Experience in Data Ingestion & Transformation (Kafka, NiFi, Airflow, ETL).
- Proficiency in Python, R, OpenRefine, or similar analytical tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to lead customer engagements and present to senior/executive stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working on engineering or infrastructure-related data (power, cooling, facilities, or operations).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, contract-based environment.
