Senior Software Engineer Power BI

The Business Intelligence Developer creates enterprise business intelligence reports, dashboards, and solutions for our customers. They collaborate closely with multiple departments to deliver reliable and clear information through dashboards, reports, data, and metrics. This information accurately assists with planning, measuring, trending, and enhancing operational performance. Additionally, they research technology best practices, implement frameworks, and align BI directions with strategic business initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports in Power BI according to user requirements.
• Connect Power BI to various data sources for real-time or batch data.
• Analyze and interpret complex data to create visualizations that effectively showcase the data.
• Perform and document data analysis, data validation, and data mapping/design.
• Optimize user experience
• Perform detailed data exploration and validation from a variety of sources.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and prioritize functional requirements.
• Perform testing and data quality checks for Power BI Dashboards.

Qualifications:

• Strong background in BI development using Power BI.
• Proven experience as a BI Developer.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex data and turn it into comprehensible results.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience using Snowflake to store data.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Skills:

• Proficient in SQL and data querying.
• Experience with data warehousing and modeling.
• Ability to gather and interpret business requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
