Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Power BI Developer to join our data analytics team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dashboard creation, reporting, SQL, and data visualization. You will play a key role in transforming raw data into actionable insights through compelling visualizations and reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and BI solutions
- Optimize data models and DAX queries for performance and scalability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data requirements
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reports
- Integrate Power BI with various data sources including SQL Server, Excel, and cloud platforms
- Implement row-level security and manage user access within Power BI
- Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of experience in BI development with a focus on Power BI
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and transformation
- Expertise in DAX, Power Query, and data modeling
- Proven experience in creating visually appealing and insightful dashboards
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Power BI certification
- Experience with Azure Data Services or other cloud platforms
- Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis
