Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled
Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports that support data‑driven decision making. The role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, data teams, and management to translate requirements into insightful visual analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy Power BI dashboards and reports aligned with business requirements
- Build efficient data models using Power BI Desktop
- Write and optimize DAX measures and calculations
- Connect Power BI to multiple data sources (Excel, APIs, GCP sources, etc.)
- Perform data cleaning, transformation, and modeling using Power Query
- Ensure report accuracy, performance optimization, and data refresh scheduling
- Implement row‑level security (RLS) and manage datasets, workspaces, and gateways
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide actionable insights
- Maintain documentation for reports, datasets, and data flows
- Troubleshoot issues and support users with Power BI solutions
Requirements
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Power BI
- Proficiency in DAX and Power Query
- Solid understanding of data modeling concepts (star schema, relationships, measures)
- Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Experience with performance tuning and best practices in Power BI
- Understanding of data visualization principles and UX best practices
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Good communication and stakeholder‑management skills
Preferred / Good To Have
- Exposure to Power BI Service, Power Automate
- SQL understanding, Data Warehousing (OLAP, Star Schema)
- Prior experience in analytics for large datasets or enterprise reporting
- Knowledge of Python for data analysis (optional)
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, or related field
