Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Power BI Developer with 2–3 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in data visualization, data modeling, and reporting, along with hands-on experience working with Snowflake as a cloud data warehouse to transform complex data into meaningful insights.

Key Responsibilities

•⁠ ⁠Design, develop, and deploy interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI 

•⁠ ⁠Connect Power BI to multiple data sources, especially Snowflake, along with SQL databases, Excel, APIs, and cloud platforms 

•⁠ ⁠Perform data extraction, transformation, and modeling using Snowflake, Power Query, and DAX 

•⁠ ⁠Develop optimized and scalable data models leveraging Snowflake schemas (star/snowflake schema) 

•⁠ ⁠Write efficient SQL queries in Snowflake for data retrieval and transformation 

•⁠ ⁠Optimize report performance and ensure data accuracy and consistency 

•⁠ ⁠Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements 

•⁠ ⁠Create and maintain documentation for reports, dashboards, and data pipelines 

•⁠ ⁠Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues across Power BI and Snowflake 

•⁠ ⁠Implement row-level security (RLS) and data governance best practices 

•⁠ ⁠Schedule data refreshes and manage Power BI service environments 

Required Skills & Qualifications

•⁠ ⁠2–3 years of hands-on experience with Power BI 

•⁠ ⁠Strong knowledge of DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and Power Query (M language) 

•⁠ ⁠Hands-on experience with Snowflake (data modeling, querying, performance tuning) 

•⁠ ⁠Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and transformation 

•⁠ ⁠Experience in data modeling concepts (star schema, relationships, normalization) 

•⁠ ⁠Understanding of Snowflake architecture (virtual warehouses, stages, data sharing) 

•⁠ ⁠Familiarity with data warehousing concepts 

•⁠ ⁠Good understanding of ETL/ELT processes 

•⁠ ⁠Experience working with large datasets and performance optimization 

•⁠ ⁠Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

•⁠ ⁠Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills 

Preferred Skills

•⁠ ⁠Experience with Azure services (Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Synapse, etc.) 

•⁠ ⁠Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis (optional) 

•⁠ ⁠Exposure to Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) 

•⁠ ⁠Experience with version control tools like Git 

•⁠ ⁠Familiarity with dbt or similar transformation tools (good to have) 

Education

•⁠ ⁠Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field 

Nice to Have

•⁠ ⁠Microsoft Power BI certification (PL-300 or equivalent) 

•⁠ ⁠Snowflake certification (SnowPro Core or equivalent) 

•⁠ ⁠Experience in building enterprise-level dashboards
