Job Description:
- Looking for a talented Power BI Developer
- As a key member of our BI team you will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining the Power BI reports and dashboards
- Your role will be crucial in transforming complex data into actionable insights to drive business decisions
Key Responsibilities:
- A day in the life of an Infoscion
- Collaborate with business users to understand the reporting requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Design and develop robust data models using Power BI Desktop incorporating strong data modeling concepts
- Create efficient and accurate DAX calculations and measures to meet business needs
- Build interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports using Power BI
- Optimize Power BI reports for performance and scalability
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data calculations and visualizations
- Maintain and update existing Power BI reports and dashboards
Technical Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in business intelligence or data analysis
- Expert level proficiency in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service
- Deep understanding of data modeling concepts DAX and measures
- Strong SQL skills and experience with query modes and live mode connections
- Proven ability to design and implement complex data visualizations
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience leading and mentoring BI teams
- Primary skills Technology Business Intelligence Visualization MSBI Power BI
Additional Responsibilities:
- Good knowledge on software configuration management systems
- Strong business acumen strategy and cross industry thought leadership
- Awareness of latest technologies and Industry trends
- Logical thinking and problem solving skills along with an ability to collaborate
- Two or three industry domain knowledge
- Understanding of the financial processes for various types of projects and the various pricing models available
- Client Interfacing skills
- Knowledge of SDLC and agile methodologies
- Project and Team management
- Experience with Power BI dataflows and data preparation
- Knowledge of other BI tools and technologies
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts
