Power BI Administrator (L3)

Position: Power BI L3 Administrator

We are seeking a skilled Power BI L3 Administrator to join our team, supporting complex business intelligence environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in tenant management, governance, security, and performance optimization within Power BI. This role requires a proactive problem-solver with hands-on development experience and a customer-focused attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize Power BI tenant environments, ensuring governance, security, and performance standards are met.
• Lead Power BI development efforts, including data modeling, DAX calculations, and dashboard/report creation.
• Provide Level 3 production support for Power BI services, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
• Handle gateway management, capacity planning, and optimization to ensure efficient data refreshes.
• Manage Azure Active Directory (AD), Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and other security protocols.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand requirements and deliver tailored BI solutions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and security.

Qualifications:

• Proven hands-on experience with Power BI development, including DAX, data modeling, and dashboard creation.
• Strong expertise in tenant management, governance, and security best practices
• Experience with gateway setup, Azure AD/RBAC, and capacity management.
• Background in Level 3 production support within a BI or data environment.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in cloud services, especially Azure.
• Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes.
• Familiarity with scripting or automation tools.
