Power BI Admin

Job Description:

• We are seeking a skilled Power BI Administrator to manage maintain secure and optimize the Power BI environment across the organization
• The ideal candidate should have hands on experience with Power BI Service administration gateway management workspace governance security implementation capacity monitoring and user support

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and manage the Power BI Service environment
• Configure and maintain On Premises Data Gateways
• Manage Power BI workspaces datasets reports dashboards and dataflows
• Implement governance security and compliance policies
• Configure and manage Row Level Security RLS
• Monitor Power BI Premium capacities and optimize performance
• Manage user access licensing and permission controls
• Troubleshoot report refresh failures gateway issues and connectivity problems
• Monitor system health and usage through Power BI Admin Portal
• Collaborate with BI developers data engineers and business stakeholders
• Maintain deployment pipelines and support release management activities
• Create operational documentation administration guides and best practices

Technical Requirements:

• Strong experience with Power BI Administration
• Hands on experience with Power BI Service and Power BI Premium Capacity
• Experience with Power BI Gateway Installation and Management
• Knowledge of Workspace Administration and Governance
• Experience with Azure Active Directory AAD and security management
• Understanding of DAX Data Modeling and Power Query
• Experience in managing Row Level Security RLS
• Knowledge of Power BI REST APIs and automation
• Experience with monitoring auditing and performance tuning
• Familiarity with SQL Server and relational databases
