Manage and administer enterprise BI platforms (Power BI, Qlik, Tableau, Sigma, Metric Insights)
Perform upgrades, patches, and platform enhancements
Manage capacity planning (Premium/Embedded) and monitor usage/performance.
Strong understanding of application and system vulnerability management.
Manage deployment pipelines and CI/CD integrations for Power BI, Qlik
Experience with monitoring tools and platform analytics.
Implement data security models including RLS and role-based access
Manage user onboarding/offboarding and license allocation
Monitor platform health, capacity usage, and performance metrics
Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks
Manage and resolve incidents through ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow). Provide root cause analysis for the incidents.
Maintain SLA compliance and incident documentation.
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP a plus).
Ensure consistent artifact promotion and traceability across environments by aligning repository practices with security, compliance, and release governance standards.
Oversee data refresh schedules, gateway configurations, and connectivity.
Provide L2/L3 support for Power BI users and business stakeholders.
Troubleshoot issues related to reports, datasets, gateways, and access.
Work closely with network and security teams to enforce cloud networking best practices.
Guide and mentor junior engineers.
Collaborate with data engineering, security, and platform teams to continuously improve the BI Tools ecosystem.
Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and SQL.
Administer QlikView / Qlik Sense environments.
Manage Qlik servers, reload schedules, and user access.
Support migrations between Qlik and Power BI if needed.
Troubleshoot Qlik dashboards and performance issues.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or master's degrees in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
