We are seeking an experienced
Power BI Administrator to manage, secure, monitor, and optimize the Power BI environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Power BI Service administration, governance, tenant management, capacity management, and integration with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain the Power BI Service tenant.
- Configure and manage tenant settings, workspaces, capacities, and gateways.
- Monitor Power BI performance, usage, and refresh failures.
- Manage Power BI Premium/Fabric capacities.
- Configure Row-Level Security (RLS), Object-Level Security (OLS), and data governance policies.
- Implement backup, disaster recovery, and audit strategies.
- Manage on-premises data gateways and scheduled refreshes.
- Collaborate with Azure AD administrators for authentication and access management.
- Troubleshoot performance issues related to reports, datasets, and capacities.
- Enforce governance standards and best practices across the Power BI environment.
- Work closely with BI Developers, Data Engineers, and business stakeholders.
