Power App Developer

Potentiam is looking for a Power Apps Developer to design, develop, and support scalable business applications using Microsoft Power Platform.

The role is responsible for building Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps, developing workflows using Power Automate, and integrating enterprise systems such as SharePoint, Dataverse, SQL Server, and REST APIs to deliver end-to-end business solutions. The candidate will also work on mobile-first application design ensuring smooth performance across iOS and Android devices.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Microsoft Power Platform including Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power BI, and Power Pages. They should be comfortable with data modeling, integration design, application lifecycle management, and solution deployment in enterprise environments. Experience in building scalable, secure, and high-performing business applications is essential.

Beyond day-to-day development, we're looking for someone who can actively contribute to improving solution design, automation, performance optimization, and deployment processes using Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and modern Power Platform capabilities. Exposure to AI Builder, Copilot in Power Apps, and modern controls is highly desirable.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power Apps solutions using Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps

• Build and manage automated workflows using Power Automate

• Develop mobile-responsive applications optimized for iOS and Android devices

• Integrate Power Platform solutions with SharePoint, Dataverse, SQL Server, REST APIs, and external systems

• Design and manage data models using Dataverse for scalable applications

• Implement business logic using Power Fx and JavaScript where required

• Develop and maintain secure role-based access and permissions within Power Platform solutions

• Optimize application performance for large datasets and enterprise usage

• Support Power BI integration for dashboards and reporting within applications

• Work with Power Pages for external-facing portals where applicable

• Participate in requirement gathering and convert business needs into technical solutions

• Support solution deployment using ALM practices, including Dev, Test, UAT, and Production environments

• Use Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines for solution packaging and deployment

• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in development and production environments

• Ensure compliance with governance, security, and naming standards across solutions

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver scalable and user-friendly applications

• Continuously identify opportunities to improve automation, performance, and development efficiency

• Explore and apply AI capabilities such as Copilot and AI Builder to enhance solutions

Skills & Abilities

• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse)

• Strong experience in Power Apps Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps

• Experience in SharePoint, SQL Server, REST API, and Custom Connector integration

• Knowledge of Dataverse data modeling and relational database concepts

• Experience in Power Automate workflow development and business process automation

• Strong understanding of mobile-first and responsive application design

• Experience in Power BI integration for reporting and dashboards

• Exposure to Power Pages for portal development (nice to have)

• Strong knowledge of Power Fx and basic JavaScript usage in Power Platform

• Experience in Azure services such as Azure Functions and Logic Apps (nice to have)

• Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Power Platform ALM practices

• Experience with performance optimization, governance, and enterprise deployment practices

• Familiarity with AI Builder and Copilot in Power Apps (nice to have)
