Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Potato Chips Fryer Operator located in Bongaigaon. The Potato Chips Fryer Operator will be responsible for operating and monitoring industrial frying equipment for potato chips, including setting temperatures, frying times, and batch sizes according to production specifications. The role includes preparing raw potato slices for frying, loading and unloading fryers, and checking product color, texture, and taste to maintain consistent quality. The operator will follow strict food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness procedures, including cleaning and basic maintenance of machines and work areas. Day-to-day tasks also involve recording production data, reporting any equipment issues, coordinating with supervisors and quality teams, and supporting packaging and material handling as needed to meet production targets safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Experience in operating food processing or frying equipment in a manufacturing or food production environment.
• Knowledge of basic food safety, hygiene standards, and safe handling of hot oil and machinery.
• Ability to monitor product quality (color, texture, crispness) and follow standard operating procedures and recipes.
• Basic mechanical aptitude to perform routine cleaning, minor adjustments, and troubleshooting of production machines.
• Capability to work on your feet for extended periods, handle moderate lifting, and follow safety guidelines consistently.
• Basic reading and writing skills to understand instructions, record production data, and follow checklists.
• Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends or overtime, based on production requirements.
• Prior experience in snack, chips, or similar food production is an advantage; training will be provided for suitable entry-level candidates.
