Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop PostgreSQL database structures, schemas, and stored procedures
Perform query optimization and performance tuning for large-scale databases
Work on database migration from DB2 (z/OS) to Azure PostgreSQL
Convert DB2 database objects such as schemas, tables, procedures, and constraints into PostgreSQL equivalents
Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory
Build and support database solutions in Azure cloud environment
Implement CI/CD pipelines for database deployments
Collaborate in Agile pod-based development teams
Write and optimize PL/SQL and PostgreSQL procedural code
Ensure data integrity, security, and scalability across systems
