Job Title: PostgreSQL Database Administrator

Location: Bangalore

Experience:6-12 Years

Technical Skills

  • 6 10 years in database administration
  • Strong hands-on experience with PostgreSQL
  • Experience supporting production-grade systems
  • Communicating with team members and clients requires strong active listening skills, clear verbal and nonverbal communication skills.
  • PostgreSQL: o indexing, partitioning, vacuuming o query optimization (EXPLAIN/ANALYZE)
  • Experience with: o high-volume transactional systems o time-series / IoT data (preferred)
  • Knowledge of: replication (streaming/logical) o backup tools (pg_dump, WAL, etc.)
  • Familiarity with cloud-managed DB services (AWS RDS, Aurora, etc.)
