Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain PostgreSQL databases and data pipelines.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
- Perform query tuning, indexing, and database performance optimization.
- Develop and support ETL/data migration processes.
- Monitor database health, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.
- Collaborate with engineering and business teams for data requirements.
Required Skills
- 3–6 years of hands-on experience with PostgreSQL.
- Strong SQL and database development expertise.
- Experience in query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning.
- Hands-on exposure to ETL/data pipelines and data migration.
- Good understanding of database design and data modeling.
- Experience with Linux/Unix environments.
- Knowledge of cloud databases (AWS RDS/Azure/GCP) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Python/Shell scripting and Git preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to large-scale production databases.
- Experience with backup/recovery and replication in PostgreSQL.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
