Job Description

The PostgreSQL DBA will manage, optimize, and maintain PostgreSQL databases in production environments. The role includes installation, configuration, tuning, backup/recovery, replication, and high-availability setups.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and upgrade PostgreSQL databases and related tools.
Monitor database performance and proactively resolve issues.
Perform database tuning, indexing, and query optimization.
Implement and manage replication (streaming, logical), clustering, and failover mechanisms.
Design and manage backup and recovery strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure database reliability, performance, and scalability.
