Postgre SQL Admin

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Hands-on experience configuring and supporting replication using various replication tools.
• Experience building and maintaining large-scale database infrastructures that support high-volume, mission-critical transactions.
• Proficient in PostgreSQL backup, restore, and Point-In-Time Recovery (PITR).
• Strong understanding of PostgreSQL architecture including memory components, processes, and internal workings.
• Ensure high availability, performance tuning, and security of PostgreSQL databases.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams for smooth database operations and troubleshooting.
• Monitor database health and optimize database performance.
• Participate in incident management and root cause analysis related to database issues.

Mandatory Skills:

• PostgreSQL (Deep hands-on expertise)

Desired Skills:

• Additional experience with PostgreSQL tools and advanced features
