Primary Responsibilities

I. Research & Knowledge Production (70%)

  • High-Impact Scholarship: Execute a sophisticated research agenda targeting Elite journals (UTD-24, FT-50, and ABS 4/4* rankings).
  • Grant Leadership: Identify and secure external funding from national (e.g., ICSSR, DST) and international (e.g., Horizon Europe, NSF) agencies.
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Lead initiatives within Woxsen's Centers of Excellence (CoEs), specifically focusing on domains such as Algorithmic Accountability, Institutional Resilience, or Circular Economy Networks.
  • Intellectual Leadership: Present findings at top-tier conferences (AOM, SMS, EGOS) and contribute to the global academic discourse.

II. Pedagogical Innovation & Mentorship (20%)

  • Research-Led Teaching: Deliver a limited, high-value teaching load in the MBA and Executive Education programs, translating complex research into actionable management frameworks.
  • Doctoral Mentorship: Co-supervise Ph.D. scholars and mentor junior research assistants, fostering a culture of methodological rigor and ethical inquiry.
  • Curriculum Design: Integrate emerging technologies (GenAI, Blockchain, Predictive Analytics) into the management curriculum.

III. Academic Service & Governance (10%)

  • Institutional Building: Contribute to the School's accreditation journeys (AACSB, AMBA) and participate in faculty governance committees.
  • Global Advocacy: Represent Woxsen in international research consortia and industry-academic forums.

Required Qualifications

  • Academic Pedigree: A Ph.D. from a world-renowned, research-intensive university (top 200 QS/THE ranking preferred).
  • Publication Record: Demonstrated ability to publish in Q1/ABDC A* journals or evidence of a strong pipeline in elite outlets.
  • Methodological Mastery: Advanced competence in quantitative (econometrics, SEM), qualitative (ethnography, case study), or computational (network analysis, NLP) methods.
  • Vision: A coherent and ambitious research agenda that addresses Grand Challenges in management, technology, or society.
