Postdoctoral Fellowship

The CMT lab, led by Prof. Deepak Agrawal at IIT Bombay, seeks a dedicated and highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to work at the intersection of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and healthcare innovation. The successful candidate will work on developing and applying advanced AI/ML algorithms to solve pressing challenges in healthcare, such as disease prediction, medical imaging, personalized medicine, and clinical decision support systems.

B.Tech. requirement

• B.Tech. (or equivalent) degree in CS/EC/EE/Data Science/AI/Signal Processing or other closely related quantitative disciplines.
• Candidates with clearly relevant backgrounds in computing, signal processing, or data-centric fields may also be considered.

Qualifications / Responsibilities

• A Ph.D. degree is a MUST in CS/Data Science/EC/EE/Physics/Mathematics/Signal Processing or other closely related areas, with at least one Q1 first-author paper.
• Candidates whose Ph.D. work is primarily wet lab–based, including extensive bench experiments, WILL NOT be considered.
• The role involves designing, implementing, and validating state-of-the-art AI/ML methods for healthcare applications, collaborating with clinicians and domain experts, and contributing to high-impact publications and translational outcomes.
